So between Fujifilm, Yakumo, and Mamiya nine different cameras have been release in the last 24 hours or so, including a total of six new Finepix models, ranging from the “no-nonsense” E-series cameras to an update to (local favorite) S5000, the S5500. Not only is the S5500 at least 500 better, it now sports a 4-megapixel sensor, as well as the already hot 10x optical zoom.
Also announced is a new Mamiya RZ67 Pro IID [right], a new medium-format camera that blends old-world crank handles with modern-day optics. It’s also square, like a delicious brownie.
