Looks like Skype, the free P2P Voice-over-IP service from the creators of Kazaa is planning on competing with other VoIP operators by upselling premium services to allow users to make landline calls. No word on price, but its certainly useful to Skype users and necessary to the company (and its revenue stream), who is providing a free VoIP service but is maintaining a ‘no advertising’ policy for the service at the moment.
