Slappa has a new iPod case that uses the same hard pseudo-suede finish as their DVD cases, as well as a velvet inner lining. It actually seems maybe just a little bit over-engineered, but I guess things like a mesh grip on the inside would prevent your iPod from slinging out when opening the case—it would also be a good place to toss your credit card and Metropass. Available right now for $30 in basic black, it looks like it will work with both 3G and 4G iPods, including the iPod Photo, as long as the Click Wheel lines up.
