As mobile tech gets easier to carry it gets harder to use. UI and industrial design has improved tremendously over the years but the blind and visually impaired are still left in the dust in terms of MP3 players, PDAs, and most cell phones.
Levar Burton, who some of you may remember from one of those Star Wars knock-off shows, is lending his name to a center dedicated to funding and researching devices for those with limited eyesight.
