Smart Mirrors

By

Reading time 1 minute

For the elderly or just plain forgetful types who can’t remember if they’ve washed down their daily Vicodin, the Memory Mirror by Everyday Computing Lab keeps track of all drugs removed from its medicine cabinet. Visually represented with soothing lavender graphics, the mirror will record usage over a 24-hour period, aided by Satan’s own RFID.

Accenture’s similar device uses face-recognition to dispense user-relevant information. The Online Medicine Cabinet goes the extra mile, monitoring blood pressure, heart rate and cholesterol levels, able to warn a doctor if one wakes up dead.
