There are variety of useful things that could be done with an LCD on a shopping cart, and not all of them involve pornography. MSNBC takes a wireless-enable “Shopping Buddy” cart out for a spin and walks away pretty impressed, finding it to make shopping a lot more convenient and, surprisingly, fun. Simple things like being able to place an order in the deli and receive a notice when its ready to pick up sound great. And emailing a shopping list from home to the cart? Sign me up. I have left my shopping list at home literally the last three times I’ve gone out, and it takes a lot of effort to remember if I needed a 750ml or 1750ml bottle and whether or not we needed whippets.
