Soldam has a beautiful new case that looks like some sort of aluminum ziggurat, spacing six 5.25-inch bays in stairsteps to maximize the amount of space inside, freeing up room for four additional 3.5-inch bays. Under the lip of the sloped front an 80mm fan brings up (and dust!) up and over the motherboard and an additional 120mm fan can be put up front if you’re willing to give up a couple of the 5.25-inch bays (although it has mounts behind the big fan for three more 3.5-inch drives). Prices range between $300 and $400, depending on options—and I have no idea if they’ll ship outside of Japan.
