Deadpool 2

Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have confirmed to Collider that Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus will indeed return for the sequel, albeit in what sounds like reduced roles:

PAUL WERNICK: I can’t say how much they are…

RHETT REESE: I think we can say. Yeah, they’ll be in the sequel.

WERNICK: Yeah, they’ll make at least an appearance.

Meanwhile, speaking of returning characters, while speaking to Nerdist, the writers confirmed that hapless cab driver Dopinder will be back in the sequel, too. Returns for everybody!

Han Solo Anthology

Woody Harrelson spoke to Mashable about his character in the film:

I’m a mentor to Han, but I’m also a bit of a criminal. I don’t think I’ll have a lot of make-up or anything. We’ll see how that look develops. I’m meeting with those guys tomorrow, the hair and make-up and stunts and everything. We’ll just have a little discussion about that.

Shazam

Global ambassador for all things Shazam Dwayne Johnson has apparently been in meetings with key figures at DC, including Geoff Johns, about the future of the DC film slate... which might mean someone other than Dwayne Johnson might actually be joining the Shazam movie soon?

Once Upon a Time

As a guest on The Drop-In podcast, star Jennifer Morrison revealed her contracts expires in April... and that there’s potentially an uncertain future for the show, which has yet to be renewed:

My contract ends in April on Once Upon a Time, I don’t know what that means. They haven’t picked up the show officially yet — they might, they might not. We are just waiting now to see if the network decides to continue with the show — and if they do continue with the show, if they’re going to rework it to be something else, or if they’re going to invite people to stay. We’re just in a holding pattern right now.

Riverdale

Here’s another TV spot for the series.

Legends of Tomorrow

Wentworth Miller spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the return of the late Captain Cold:

My sense is that if Snart comes back into the storyline via his present day incarnation, then he’s a straight-up villain. He hasn’t gone on that first season Legends of Tomorrow journey yet, so when we meet him again — quote unquote alive in 2017 — I imagine that he’s going to be much like when we first met him the first season on The Flash, which I’m looking forward to, because it means I get to arc to a completely different place.

I know everyone loves The Rock, sometimes ironically, but man, there is no one in entertainment who works as hard as that guy:

-Seems to always have at least one TV show going (HBO, reality, etc.)

- Clearly still works out a couple of hours a day.

- Kills it on social media — even if he has a staff doing his writing, they do such a good job with his voice I bet he at least reads everything before it posts.

- In a lot of his posts, he’s generally DOING something, like taking a new meeting, reading a script, etc.

- Churns out at least 2-3 fun-at-worst popcorn flicks a year.

- Still makes the occasional wrestling appearance.

I’m exhausted just typing all that.
