A quick blip regarding the Sonos music system being “broken for Macs.” It’s not, at least not anymore—they’ve issued a fix. More to the point, it wasn’t as broken as we first thought. Apparently, the Ipodlounge problem was an anomaly (confirmed by quite a few happy Mac-owning Sonos users), affecting only a handful of people across a few thousand customers. Nevertheless, Sonos has smoothed it out via patch, and all is well. iPodlounge did right to report their issue (and even contacted Sonos), but I feel like we inadvertently overstated it a bit when we said it was “broken for Macs.”
