I sort of thought Sony killed the Aiwa brand, but I4U is reporting a new Aiwa-branded flash player called the XDM-S710BT with a 100-hour playtime and a Bluetooth interface—which is sort of hot, now that I think about it. It’s only a 256MB player, unfortunately, but everything else looks solid. There are too other models, the XDM-S700 and the XDM-S500, both with built-in FM transmitters.
And yes, all three play MP3 in addition to ATRAC3. Unfortunately, it’s not just a plug-and-play type of transfer—you still have to use their funky software.
