Sony is torn a new one by Design Technica in this interesting review of this pseudo-SLR with 12x zoom. While the photo quality was good, gimpy software, MemoryStick problems, and general clunkishness made this one a so-so offering in the ultra-zoom category.
The bundled software was the particular sticking point as it was “worse than useless” and crashed the reviewer’s computer. It’s not often you get mention of the creepy parts of high tech in a review, so savor it when you can.
