It’s relatively staid for a Sony Cybershot, but the new DSC-W5 looks like a nice bit of camera for just $350. As an update to the DSC-W1, it adds a 5-megapixel sensor and an extra-large 2.5-inch screen. Think DSC-T3, but without quite as many of the space saving features that make that camera more expensive.

Update: Caleb Rabinowitz rightly pointed out that the DSC-W1 already had a 5-megapixel sensor and a 2.5-inch screen, so I have no idea what it is that they’ve improved, beyond minor cosmetic changes.
