I’ve been keeping an eye on the Sony Cybershot DSC-T3. I liked its predecessor DSC-T1 quite a bit, but reports of mediocre image quality kept me away from purchase. I4U’s review of an imported T3 shows that the colors, at least, have appear to be a bit richer, but I don’t have the eye to tell if that means the image quality is fixed or not. For some strange reason, though, Sony has pushed back the launch of the T3 here in the US, so for now you’ll have to drop $600 at Dynamism to take one home. On the upside, you have the option of getting the Japan-only black casing.

Update: Chris Hoffman writes, “I bought this from Amphotoworld recently, which seems to be in the US, for less than the $600. It’s supposed to be here today or tomorrow.” They have the black model listed for $375, so that’s quite a difference.

Update Update: Amy points out A&M has a piss-poor Reseller’s Rating. Careful.
