The Register’s Andrew Orlowski reviews the Sony Ericsson K700i and comes away almost totally impressed, with the exception of a horrendous battery life that makes this moderately-powered, fine-screened handset a once-a-day charger. Other than that, though, it’s aces. The FM radio works well, the screen is gorgeous, and the K700i’s limited web browsing ability is zippy and painless. Well, it’s camera is a little lackluster, I guess (it’s still just a VGA-quality sensor, despite any claptrap from Sony Ericsson otherwise), but all in all it looks like a solid phone for someone who doesn’t mind the daily recharge.
