Live digitally has a review of Sony’s Location Free TV—the one that gets its image via Wi-Fi—and it sounds like it’s a pretty dismal product, all around. A short battery life (90 minutes) makes it only so useful to carry around the house, while a good portion of the functionality is either crippled or half-baked. Plus, at least in Live Digitally’s testing, the remote streaming function of the signal was unwatchable—maybe it would be better with a meatier upstream.
All in all, not nearly impressive enough to warrant a $1,500, from the sound of it.
