There’s little hope that this Sony Net MD Soundgate shelf system will ever see the light of our glorious American sun, but I thought it looked pretty slick—slick enough to talk about, for sure. The LAM-Z05 will be available in silver, black, and white and capable of being connected to a PC to use the built-in miniDisc for recording. You can even dub straight from CD to MD—probably without DRM, too. Copying music is only bad when it’s digital, you see.
