Portable gaming nerds hungry for any scraps of information about Sony’s upcoming PSP handheld might want to talk a look at ConsoleConspiracy, where they’ve cribbed some notes from today’s “Programming the PSP” talk at the Austin Game Conference. Nothing particularly sticks out at the moment, although they do confirm that the 7.1 surround sound out thing was just a weird rumor. Oh, and the PSP will be able to hook directly to a PC via USB 2.0; that could have some interesting ramifications, if none other than convenience.
