Sony has launched two new flash-based MP3 players in the UK today, the Walkman NW-E99 and the NW-E95, with 1GB and 512MB of storage, respectively. And when I say MP3 player I’m not saying that in just a generic sense—these units actually support MP3 natively, as opposed to transcoding into ATRAC. They’re spendy, though, at $200 for the NW-E95 and $300 for the NW-E99.
I haven’t found pictures of the units yet, though, so if you happen to come across any before Sony can send me some, I’d love to have them.
Update: Oh, it’s these players. I didn’t recognize the model number. (Thanks, John!)
