I think I misjudged when I saw the product release about the new Sony VAIO T Series laptops, because I didn’t figure people would be that excited about them, but boy was I wrong, so let me fix that oversight. The best thing about the new Centrino sub-notebooks that I can see is that the 10.6-inch screens use Sony’s X-Brite LCD technology, which really is as good as they hype. If the battery life and the keyboard are useable, we might just take one out for a spin. I’ve yet to run into anything as hot as the Panasonic R3 yet, though, so they’ve got a tough row to hoe.
