Sony is ready to launch a new portable DAB radio in the UK—its smallest yet. The XDR-M1 is a fine little unit, with a 4-line LCD display for showing all the extra program information that DAB affords. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have any built-in memory to record live radio streams for live pause and rewind, but it is awfull small, so that’s something. Sony has not set a price for the player yet, which will only be released in Europe.
