Soundcore by Anker P20i Earbuds Are 50% Off, a Perfect Budget Spare Pair If You Keep Losing Your AirPods

Earbuds for just $20? You'd better believe it.

The Soundcore by Anker P20i Wireless Earbuds are about as cheap as a name-brand pair of true wireless earbuds gets without venturing into knockoff territory. They’re a stem-style design with silicone tips that seal in your ear canal, a compact charging case with a small lanyard attached for clipping to a bag, and Bluetooth 5.3 for fast pairing with a phone or laptop. Soundcore is Anker’s audio brand, and the P20i sits near the bottom of its lineup in terms of price while offering the same companion app and most of the features you’d want from a daily driver pair of earbuds.

Head over to Amazon to get the Soundcore by Anker P20i Wireless Earbuds for just $20, down from $40. That’s a $20 discount and 50% off.

Earbuds with fantastic audio and even better battery life

The P20i’s sound is generated by its oversized 10mm dynamic speakers. Tuned to emphasize low-end, these earbuds deliver a solid mid-bass response that complements hip-hop, electronic, and pop music well. However, the frequency roll-off at the high-end limits the upper treble. The Soundcore mobile app (iOS/Android) features an equalizer with 22 presets to customize your listening experience for specific musical genres, and it includes Anker’s BassUp mode, which boosts low-end performance.

Battery life is one of the strongest selling points on earbuds this cheap. Soundcore rates the P20i at 10 hours on a single charge, with the charging case bringing the total to 30 hours. A 10-minute quick charge in the case gets you two more hours of playback, which covers most situations where you forgot to dock them the night before. The case charges over USB-C.

Two built-in microphones with an AI noise reduction algorithm handle calls. Sound quality on the call side is fine for quiet environments like a home office or a parked car, though it gets dicey on a windy sidewalk or in a busy coffee shop. For anyone who mostly uses earbuds for music and the occasional call, this is the kind of trade-off that comes with the price.

Connecting to a device for the first time is a one-step process. Open the case, take the earbuds out, and they show up in the Bluetooth menu within a few seconds. After that, the P20i automatically reconnects to the last paired device whenever you take it out of the case. A single-earbud mode lets you use just one bud at a time for longer combined battery life or when you need to hear what’s around you.

The Soundcore by Anker P20i Wireless Earbuds are on sale for $20 instead of the usual $40. Twenty bucks for a pair of name-brand wireless earbuds with 30 hours of total battery life, an EQ app, and IPX5 sweat resistance is roughly the price of a cheap pair of gas-station wired headphones. Hard to argue with that math.
