Apple TV’s Telepaths adaptation has found a few more stars. Get fresh new looks at Masters of the Universe and Mortal Kombat II. Plus, Daredevil: Born Again season 2 sets up its endgame in a new trailer. Spoilers get!

Liminal
Deadline reports Franka Potente and Tracy Letts have joined the cast of Apple‘s upcoming sci-fi action-thriller, Liminal. Directed by Louis Leterrier and based on the AWA comic book Telepaths by J. Michael Straczynski, Steve Epting, and Brian Reber, the story “takes place in a world where a tenth of the population suddenly gains telepathic powers as a result of an electromagnetic disturbance.”
King Snake
Deadline additionally reports filming has begun on King Snake, a southern gothic supernatural horror film starring Margaret Qualley, Drew Starkey, and Michael Shannon. The story follows “a young couple (Qualley and Starkey) who inherit a farm in rural Arkansas and must conquer the demons, both physical and metaphysical, that haunt its legacy…forces of good and evil collide in a terrifying film where real-world challenges crash headlong into otherworldly creatures and myths.”
Buddy
Deadline also has word Casper Kelly’s Buddy is now slated for a September 4 theatrical release through Roadside Attractions and Saban Films. The story concerns “a humanoid unicorn of the same name” who’s both “a beloved children’s TV host with a squeaky-clean, Mr. Rogers–style persona” and “a dark and violent force of nature.” The film stars Keegan-Michael Key, Cristin Milioti, Delaney Quinn, Topher Grace, Michael Shannon, and Patton Oswalt.
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 3
A new Instagram video reveals the Roger Jackson-voiced Rabbit in the Richard Stanley-penned Blood and Honey 3.
Masters of the Universe
Sony Pictures UK has released an international trailer for Masters of the Universe, with a few snippets of new footage.
Mortal Kombat II
Warner Bros. has also released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat II, wisely including “Techno Syndrome” from Mortal Kombat: The Album.
Voidance
Elsewhere, Alana Tora stars as an agent-in-training who must prevent a simulated terrorist attack aboard a space station in the trailer for the British time-loop thriller, Voidance.
Spider-Noir
The cast of Spider-Noir discuss the villains Silverman, Sandman, Tombstone, and, surprisingly, the one-off ’90s villain Megawatt, in a new featurette.
Daredevil: Born Again
