Stats Break: Digital Camera Sales Growth Slowing, But Still Strong

According to Reuters, global shipments of digital cameras are expected to jump 39 percent this year, from 47.9 million units last year to 68.6 million units, which is actually a decrease in the adoption rates from 2002 to 2003. Sony lead the digicam market in 2003, with an 18 percent share, with Canon, Olympus, and Kodak following closely behind.
