Streaming Video to a New XM Device?

All we’ve gotten so far are Photoshop mock-ups, but it feels like XM is planning a streaming satellite video service that may or may not be the coolest thing in the world.

Apparently XM is showing this device, or something like it, to Analysts and other folks to can effect XM’s financial outlook.

All the pieces are in place: video is cool, satellites are expensive to send up, and satellite radio needs to keep on its toes. Would they start broadcasting their own video? I’m not sure, but it would definitely be an interesting end run around traditional cable and satellite television purveyors. [Thanks, Hearsay Man!]
