A supercut of people in movies hitting gadgets to fix them

I don't know the scientific reason why broken things sometimes get fixed when you hit them but the truth is that this seems to be the case. Duncan Robson put together this neat supercut using movie scenes of people doing just that, transforming them into the drum track of a song.

Ahh, the old forcefully hit an old piece of equipment to get it working again trick. That as well as blowing into cartridges is something young people will never get to experience or understand.

Also I look forward to the day where "Have you tried turning it off and on again" is a nostalgic saying people tell their children they used to have to do to get technology working again.
