Old man strength. The ability to fix anything broken inside the house. The impeccable sense of direction. The never ending wallet. Dads are basically real life superheroes. Especially this dad, who probably activated the secret powerful dad mode God code you get when you become a father that made him instantly realize the trajectory the Little Tike car was headed down the hill, where the young kid was standing and how fast he had to run down it to save the day. I mean, damn, that was fast.
Seems to me it would have been easier to actually grab the car and prevent it from hitting the kid. I know he was just acting on a split second decision and it worked out in the end. But in that moment that you are running past a runaway toy car heading straight toward another kid, I would think your brain would just tell you to grab the car and slow it down or veer it in another direction.
