The wraps come off of Intel’s new ‘Dothan’ 90nm Pentium M core today, and Trusted Reviews has a review of one of the first laptops to use the upgraded Centrino chipset that supports it. Outside the upgraded processor and WiFi options of the new Centrino (now with support for 802.11b/g/and a), the Systemax TourBook 5127 isn’t markedly different from its predecessors, but ends up getting very high marks for not much money, continuing the Pentium M’s dominance in the low-cost, high-performance PC laptop segment.
