While running a cord from my wrist sounds like a good way to constantly rip my headphones out of my ears, I have to admit a certain admiration for these new MP3 SuperDisk Watches from Thanko. Not because they’re good looking — they’re not — but because despite cramming up to 256MB of flash memory and MP3 decoding hardware inside, they’ve still managed to make a watch that looks, for all intents and purposes, normal. It does use a separate cord which would have to be carried around if you want to add or remove data, which could be a hassle, but the watch face is even analog, and waterproof besides. Pick one up at your local Japanese gray market electronics store for only around $150.
