While almost every character on the show (aside from poor Cally. Poor, poor Cally) seems to be wondering just who the frak Battlestar Galactica's final Cylon actually is, it only takes one quick look at crafty site Etsy to find out how to solve that particular mystery: Just look for the owner of the person with the notebook that says "I Am The Final Cylon" on the cover in big letters. More on that, and other BSG goodies, under the jump.
The Final Cylon notebook is, according to creator Paperphilia,"perfect for taking notes or plotting out the demise of the human race," allowing the modern Cylon the ability to keep using it no matter what mood he or she happens to be in. But that's not the only BSG-related goodie on the site.
For example, why not hothouse your child to become a future savior of the human race with this beautiful Battlestar Galactica Mandala Mobile?
This mobile is inspired by the Eye of Jupiter Mandala featured in the Battlestar Galactica television series. A center circle of blue is surrounded by a ring of dark red. A ring of deep yellow completes the wheel. The mandala is 4.5"/12cm in diameter and hangs by a single nylon thread... It is not intended for use as a toy.
Or, if you don't have a child but want to celebrate the wonder that is Starbuck's Jesus syndrome, you could always have some mandala jewelery.
Then again, maybe you're the kind of person who'd prefer to wear their heart on their sleeve. We can't really help with that, but we can help you wear your fictional cursing on your chest.
For the ultimate somewhat-tangentally connected Etsy-tie-in to the show, however, it'd be hard to beat BSG-inspired long fingerless gloves in colonial blue:
Whether working for President Roslin or hailing from a desk in the real world, these are perfect to keep a chill off your hands & arms. They're elbow length (or longer, if you happen to be on the short side like me) and leave your fingers free to get all sorts of things done. Practical to a fault and quite nice looking. Both gloves are accented with vintage brass buttons I purchased on Etsy from UrbanRose (http://urbanrose.etsy.com). They were perfect to finish these off in a classic, understated way. So there's no reason to push paper while freezing, slip on your warmers and do it for all Colonials... or your boss.
So say we all.
