Being the increasingly less proud owner of a 14 hour TiVo (it’s what I get for being among the earliest adopters), there have been more than a few times that I’ve considered springing for the DIY upgrade kit offered by Weaknees, for adding extra hard drive space (and thus extra recording hours) to your TiVo box. Anyway, I have a feeling I’m going to break down and do the upgrade in light of the recent review in the San Jose Mercury News raving about how incredibly easy it is to install.
