Not that we had any doubts that ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series was going to be a Joss Whedon show, but this newest extended preview couldn’t be more Joss Whedon-y if Nathan Fillion were in the corner, screaming his name repeatedly.
Between the somber and heartfelt alt-country music and the shots of characters fighting in slow-motion and/or looking forlorn, it’s practically the Agents if S.H.I.E.L.D. version of the Firefly opening credits. Which, I imagine, is an actual video we’ll get about 30 minutes after the first Agents episode ends.
