This huge decrepit factory rolls along the blighted tundra on massive tank treads, the scene of some dark alternate future where the Soviet Union never fell. It’s the work of concept artist Ryan DeMita, created for the ConceptArt forum’s “crawler factory” industrial design challenge. Some kick-ass CG artists came up with some weird and scary ideas for moving factories (a la Dune.) A few of our other faves are below.
