There’ll be a new face in Star City next season on the CW’s Arrow: Tyler Ritter (The McCarthys) as Detective Malone, added to the police force after Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) peaced out in season four. Actually, there will be several fresh faces in Star City, since Ritter is only the most recent new cast member to be announced.
As The Hollywood Reporter notes, the DC Comics drama “will welcome Josh Segarra (Chicago P.D.) as a new district attorney and Walking Dead’s Chad L. Coleman as a new villain.” The show has also made Echo Kellum (who plays Curtis Holt) a series regular—and Blackthorne, though he’ll no longer have cop duties, will still be a series regular, too. Arrow returns October 5.
