Menupages: I simply cannot live without MenuPages. It gives you full menus of restaurants near you and is a complete godsend for eating lovers like myself. Sadly, it only really works in big cities (New York City, LA, San Francisco, Philly, Boston, Chicago, DC or South Florida).
MLB At Bat 2011: The best sports app on any platform, MLB At Bat 2011 is back for another season. Buy now and you get oodles of spring training content. When the season starts you can keep track of your favorite team and stream live games (if you buck up for a MLB.tv subscription). $15 is expensive but a no brainer buy for baseball fans.
Graphic.ly: Graphic.ly is a comic book app store and reader that sets itself apart by bringing Marvel comics to Android for the first time. There's over 2,000 other comics from 150 different publishers to get your geek on and a snazzy frame-by-frame view to take in the comic
ZDbox: ZDbox for Android is an "all-in-one" toolbox app that makes it easy to find out what's going on in your phone: you get exact battery percentage and traffic usage (with alerts!) and can set a do not disturb time range, lock apps (like Gmail or messaging) and batch uninstall unwanted apps. Super easy to use. Still in beta but works really well.
PewPew: A completely free, Geometry Wars-esque laser shooting game. There's four game modes and there's really no better title for a game like this than pewpew.
Garmin Mechanic: When you're on a trip, Garmin Mechanic can calculate your total trip distance, average speed, and estimated mileage. When you pair the app with Garmin's ecoRoute HD module (a $90 accessory), the app will be able to read real-time performance data and show live gauges, throttle position, intake pressure and more. It's like transplanting the brain and dashboard of your car into your Android phone.
CNN: A CNN app made just for Honeycomb Tablets. And it's probably the best CNN app available on any platform. Neat widget too.
Gmail: Teensy little update to Gmail that syncs custom label colors (woohoo!) and if you're on Android 2.3, allows long press to copy text.
