Aftermarket navigation vendor TomTom has announced a US model of their TomTom GO system pre-loaded with maps of our great nation. Although I haven’t used a TomTom GO, I think it’s a great idea—the ability to add GPS-based navigation to anything, from automobile to bicycle, is a cool trick, although until the price drops from its introductory $1,000, I’ll probably continue to just wing it.
