It might not be fair to call this the first Treo 650 review (and he doesn’t), but Treonauts has a fairly in-depth breakdown of the smartphone after spending many hours with it and taking it through the paces. He’s pretty rocked by it, it seems, and while you have to take a Treo review on Treonauts with at least a few grains of salt, he does a good job breaking down what he thinks is an improvement and what isn’t.
I’m with him on almost everything, but I really am having a hard time dealing with the 32MB of memory thing. Sure you can just run applications off of a flash card, but it just feels so scant for a modern smartphone. TreoCentral had a good interview with a bunch of PalmOne execs Tuesday, too, which I thought I linked, but I don’t see it.
