Sure, you can pop a battery in there, too, but clearly this is meant for the mobile nail technician, who makes a killing roving from cubicle to cubicle, buffing out the half moons of hard-working programmers. Nothing helps you work through that thorny Java class function like a long sit-back with your fingers in a fruit acid and nut oil solution.
