These Vent-Box computers are extremely swanky in exactly the sort of way Mini-ITX-based PCs should be, but it’s sort of dissapointing that the PC1 and PC3 models (the better looking of the trio) are powered by only a 600MHz processor (the Via C3). That’s plenty fast for watching DVDs and using these as low-power Home Theater PCs, but not a lot more. There is, however, a third model, the “A-Storage,” which might be a faster, Pentium 4-based machine, or might just be an external harddrive. (The Babelfish is failing me this morning). Either way, it’s the ugliest one, so I’m not going to be happy.
