Somebody needs to steal the concept of the Ventana scroll lamp and manufacturer a cut-rate version for less than the $700 the original goes for, because I would like to place dozens of them in my apartment for various uses, such as lighting up things, looking at, and swinging them out 180° on their mounts and saying “huh,” and “would you look at that?” As it stands, though, a couple of halogen bulbs and a roll of space toilet paper isn’t going to pry the better part of a grand out of my pocket.
The Ventana isn’t the only lamp Pablo Designs has, either, and I found many of them to be pretty nifty.
