Vietnamese science fiction authors are joining together in a new group, the Viet Nam Fund of Science Fiction (VFSF) under the leadership of biologist and SF writer Vu Kim Dung. The VFSF is going to focus on sponsoring writing competitions, translating foreign works, and putting out short-story anthologies, but it also plans to fund movies and plays, plus creative new video games, says Vu, best known for his novel Beauty Revived, about a dead beauty who’s cloned from a single skin cell.
