So congratulations, our UKian friends: it sounds like Vodafone’s new 3G network is actually pretty awesome, at least according to Stu over at Pocket Lint. He’s been testing it out with a new Sony Ericsson V800 and is sort of in love. By all rights it sounds like he should be, as the phone and service combination sounds fantastic. The 1.3-megapixel camera is decent with a flash that actually works, the 3G content and services seem extremely well thought out (after watching a movie trailer, you can have the phone triangulate your position, find the nearest movie theater, and order tickets), and the phone is attractive and full-featured.
And the best part is, besides the music download services, it sounds like the Vodafone 3G services are pretty much ‘one price gets you everything,’ so you’re not nickel and dimed (or tuppenced and ching-chammered or whatever it is there)
