Seems that the 7100t isn’t the only new BlackBerry phone coming from RIM, as Vodafone has announced the exclusive distribution of the 7100v, an even more traditionally shaped handset that appears to be essentially a re-packaged version of the 7100t. With the same funky QWERTY keyboard, the 7100v supports a much wider range of languages in its character recognition software SureType, including English, French, German, Italian and Spanish (hopefully those will be available for download to the 7100t here in the States).
Expect to see the 7100v in Europe and Australia starting in October.
