Video Without Boundries today announced their MediaREADY Flyboy personal media player. And while the only picture we have is sort of blurry and awful, the specs themselves are very attractive: Linux-based (potentially hackable), 40GB hard drive, 3.5-inch screen, and MPEG4 playback (as well as possible Real support). The reason that’s impressive is they are listing an MSRP of only $350. That would be a heck of a deal. Is this what we should expect from the next generation of portable video players?
