Gizmodo publisher Nick Denton has been asking me – well, not asking, but it’s there in his eyes – which yacht I’d like to be doing most of my blogging from. Normally this hopped-up space harrier that I bop about the atmosphere in each day is enough, as my needs are meager, but I’ve decided that if he’s going to spring for one, I might as well get the 118 WallyPower. Not only does it look like it was folded from a solid slab of slate, the 118-foot vessel can reach speeds as high as 70 mph, encouraged through the water by a trio of 5,600 horsepower turbines (those inlets on the side are to keep them cool).
It’s only 24.14 million dollars, and it’s absolutely stunning. Maybe I’ll get a pair – one for each foot. (Thanks, Greg!)
