Matt Kaufenberg is working on this series of retro-styled Avengers illustrations. Something about the smiles remind me of Roger Hargreaves’ Mister Men and Little Miss series. Maybe it’s because Thor’s purple cloud friend looks like the offspring of Mr. Messy and Adventure Time’s Lumpy Space Princess.
