Showing their seductively smooth white faces for the first time at CEATEC this week, Splashpower’s Multi SplashPad and Single SplashPad look like promising solutions to the fact that we all constant forget to adequately charge our portable devices. Just toss your portable gear on the flat surface these babies (well, just one device on the aptly-named Single) and they charge wirelessly using inductive power as a means of power transferring. The device-to-be-charged will have to be outfitted with a mysterious SplashModule. No expected date (or price) for retail yet, sadly.
