Mini-box announced what it calls the world’s smallest power supply on Thursday, the picoPSU-120. There are no fans and it runs completely silent. Roughly the size of two AA batteries, it actually plugs directly into the motherboard’s ATX power connector. It can power the ATX motherboard connection, peripherals and hard drive. It is said that this can power up to 3GHz P4 machines, but it was obviously designed for low-power CPUs. This could serve a great purpose for the modder extraordinaires and at $49.95 it isn t too bad of a deal.
