It won’t win any prizes for being ugly — oh wait, yes it will; congratulations! — but here’s another portable video player, this time from the UK: the Talitor PV-330. It’s got the usual stuff, 40GB hard drive and a 3.5-inch LCD with a fairly low quality screen (looks like 480 x 234, although it can’t even decode at that resolution). In fact, after factoring in the £325 purchase price I can’t think of much to recommend this thing at all, unless you’ve resigned yourself to stepping into the portable video future in the most wretched way possible.
