Now I can't be faulted for accusing Elizabeth Hitchcock of smoking smack. When I first saw her 'iPodJewelry' design, I thought it was a full-sized "iPodesque" bit of artistry, about the size and heft of a sturdy two-by-four. But after I sent my professional journalistic inquiry ("Subject: OMG CRACK !?!?LOL!?!?") she patiently explained I was looking at an iPod shuffle—then it all sort of clicked. Whatever you think of her freshwater pearl and wire creation, you have to admit it already is a lot less glaring and chintzy looking than a regular iPod shuffle. Elizabeth also had the foresight to register iPodJewelry.com. I'm looking forward to what she creates next.
