Now that we've got more data coming in and out of cellphones and handheld devices, it only makes sense that we'd see a high-speed 1GB mini SD card one of these days. To make this a reality, Transcend has announced a 1GB 80X Ultra Performance miniSD card that supports transfer data speeds of up to 12MB/sec and uses a single level architecture to make it 70% quicker than your everyday miniSD card. We have found one website that claims a 4GB version but Transcend's website says nothing about this, so take it with a grain of salt. However, there is a 512MB version available.
